I remember the day “The Warren's” came to check out our old house in Glen Margaret. Mom was particularly pleased that such a well respected man in our community, and his lovely wife, were interested in renting her ancestral homestead. It has often been said that our old house was a warm and welcoming place. That, of course, was due to the loving and kind souls who made it their home. My sincere condolences at this sad time, and may God Bless you as you grieve and celebrate his wonderful life.

I had Mr. Warren for grade 4 and 5 at East St. Margaret's and I treasure every memory I have of him in those years. It was he who convinced me that I can truely be anything I want to be. I have strived to live by the integrity and respect he showed me every day when I would be quietly waiting on the front steps in the morning because I didnt want to be home alone. No words can express the gratitude I have for how he shaped my childhood, catch you on the flip side.

I had Mr. Warren as a teacher at East St. Margarets. He was such a wonderful teacher. He was so personable. I can remember him playing a record near the end of the school year in grade five. Cherry baby started playing and I started singing all the words to the song. He was amazed that I knew them all.
