condolences to rob and family
I was buddy with rob-he son in the 70 s in high school - rob was so proud of his dad-Colin, who was always in a pilot suit ready to go fly and save somebody lost at sea from gander Newfoundland,I recall a boyhood jam -- Colin stood up for rob and I--joyriding in his dads car-I laugh now thinking about it-a police officer pulled us over with girls in the car-after searching the car the office found an expensive bottle of hidden scotch-when Rob said it was not his it was his fathers scotch ,his fathers car-the officer asked who is your father-we had a pass to go straight home--hang on to these memories and all others rob and family-end of the day its all we have that has value, kathy and I are moving back home to retire in Sydney area this summer-would love to get together and share some more-sorry I missed being there for you at your time of need

I'm so sorry to learn of Colin's passing. I have only known him in his senior years, so it was really interesting to learn about what he did during his long life. It sounds like he lived it well, and really enjoyed his chosen profession - flying. What a great guy - I wish I had heard some of his stories. I'm sure he had some incredible tales to tell! It sounds like he has touched many, many lives. He will be missed.
