Lois, age 66, grew up in Summerville, Hants County. She passed away Monday, March 18, 2019, peacefully at home in Union Corner, Hants County. Born in Windsor, she was a daughter of the late Roland & Joann (Coffill) Spencer of Hantsport.

Lois loved her family and had a good sense of humour. She enjoyed books, poetry, and word games. She was baptized as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses in October 1965. As a fulltime minister for the past 14 years, she loved telling others about her faith in the Creator, Jehovah and his beautiful hope for a future paradise here on earth. Her trust in Jehovah’s promise of the resurrection remained strong right up to the moment she fell asleep peacefully.

Lois is survived by her husband of 36 years, David; sisters, Karen and Jane; brother, Victor; eight children and their spouses; five grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents, Lois was predeceased by her brother, Peter.
