Obituary of Wilfred William Jodrey

Age 85, of Windsor, passed away peacefully in his own bed, in his sleep, in the house he built, Thursday, March 14, 2019. Born in Port Williams on March 3, 1934, he was a son of the late Lloyd Melvin and Dollie Dell (Ells) Jodrey.

He belonged to eight chapters of the Masonic Lodge joining in 1960 and was presented with four 50-year jewels. He was a 32nd Degree Mason within two years of joining and was able to then become a member of the Philee Temple, from which he received his 50-year jewel, and the Eastern and Western Valley Shrine Clubs, which he joined in 1962. Wilf belonged to the United Commercial Travelers Club and received a 50-year jewel from there as well. He was a member of the Windsor Senior Citizen Bus Society for 38 years, as well as the Friends of Dykeland Lodge. His tireless fundraising efforts helped to raise money for three senior’s buses and the Shriners Children’s Hospital.
