COLEMAN (DeEll), Geraldine Patricia - 65, Viewmount, Kings Co., passed away on Saturday, August 4, 2012, in the Valley Regional Hospital, Kentville. Born in Berwick, she was a daughter of the late Gordon "Hobart" and Helen Julia (Hutt) Best.Geraldine loved to paint and was an avid supporter of A.A. She had worked at Larsen Packers Ltd., Berwick, for 20 years.Surviving are her husband, David F. Coleman; daughters, Carolyn Gray, Berwick; Lori (Joey Patterson) Coleman, Auburn; sons, Alan (Nicole) DeEll, Factorydale; Dana (Kim) DeEll, Viewmount; Brian DeEll, Waterville; Scott (Lindsey) DeEll, Weston; grandchildren, Nichole, Matthew, Nicholas, Dustin, Bailey, Connor, Kyle, Jackson, Shelby and Jaime; great-granddaughter, Hope; sisters, Jean (Rev. Donald) Hirtle, Advocate; Charlotte (Roy) Williams, Burlington; Donna Bezanson, Morden; Debbie (Mike) McLearn, Canaan; brothers, Eric (Margaret) Best, Morristown; Terry (Brenda) Best, Lethbridge, Alberta; sister-in-law, Yvonne Best, Aylesford East; several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by grandchildren, Erika Gray and Hudson DeEll; brothers, Donald in infancy; Calvin Best.Arrangements have been entrusted to Bryce Johnstone of DeMont Family Funeral Homes & Cremation Service (902-538-8317). Visitation will take place from 7-9 p.m., Tuesday evening in the Berwick & District Volunteer Fire Hall, 300 Commercial St., Berwick (back parking lot entrance). A graveside funeral service will take place at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, August 8, in the Burlington Cemetery, Barley St., Burlington. Rev. Donald Hirtle officiating. Family flowers only, donations in her memory may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Nova Scotia or to Alcoholics Anonymous.
