Obituary of David "Dave" Patrick Logan

Age 46 of Falmouth, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, August 1, 2018 in the Halifax Infirmary Site, QEII, Halifax, with his family by his side. He was a son of the late Joseph “Joe” and Barbara “Barb” (MacBurnie) Logan.

Dave was a loving husband, father and brother. His children, Grant and Kaylee, were the light of his life. He supported them in all they did from the football field to the cheer mat, he was their biggest fan. Dave’s sense of humour could make anyone laugh. Dave was employed as an engineer with Atlantic Towing and spent half of his life, with his sea family, on many vessels over his career.

David is survived by his wife, Michele (Davis); children, Grant and Kaylee; brothers, Brent (Tanya) and Gordon (Alison); nieces, Miranda, Shayla and Ava; aunts, uncles, cousins and extended family.

The family would like to extend their sincere gratitude to Kellie Fletcher in the Hants Community Hospital Emergency Department, for all of her assistance, support and guidance. Thank you is also extended to the staff of the Emergency and Surgical Departments at the QEII Infirmary Site for everything that they did for Dave.

Arrangements have been entrusted to DeMont Family Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 419 Albert St., Windsor (902-798-8317). An informal drop in open house celebrating Dave’s life will be held in the funeral home’s Elmcroft Reception Centre on Friday, August 10 from 1 - 3 p.m. Feel free to drop by at any point to visit with the family and pay your respects.
