I am from the Sherbrooke Lake Camp community and we light candles every Thursday night, would like to have this candle lit here for Carolyn and the two boys. They will be in our thoughts and prayers. Found a dime yesterday when we were cleaning the lodge made us all take a moment to think of her.

I was in the class of 1992 with Carolyn, having gone to school with her from Kindergarten onwards.
It is still just so surreal that this occurred to the boys and her, since it seems like yesterday that I was speaking with her. I am heartbroken for you all, and for the class of 1992 and all her friends in Nova Scotia and abroad as well.
I cannot come home from Ottawa for the funeral, but will be there with you in spirit.

I wish to send my condolences for the loss of Carolyn at a young age. I can't imagine your pain. We are never ready to pass away, at any age, which shows that our Creator, Jehovah, did not intend life to end. A comforting Bible promise says "the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs (in God's memory) will hear his voice and come out . . . to a resurrection of life." (John 5:28, 29) And then God "will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more . . . nor pain be anymore" in the Paradise to come, on the earth. (Revelation 21:4)

I am very saddened by the tragic loss of Carolyn. She is now a special angel who I am sure is watching very closely over her two boys. I am blessed to have spent the afternoon with her and the boys a couple of weeks ago and will treasure that forever. Carolyn was my first friend. We met at 3 years old when my family moved in next to hers. We hadn't been in regular communication over the past few years probably because something so rooted in your past is just always there. Elaine, Lara, Ashley - So very shocked to hear from Laura about Carolyn. My thoughts and prayers go out to all of you. I got to know her through Laura … a very likeable and remarkable lady!! She made you feel as if you had known her forever even though you and just met. Was so sad to hear of Carolyn's passing. I used to live up the street from her in Hantsport, and I remember one snowy,cold morning while driving to work I saw Carolyn out shovelling...next thing I know I see her throwing the shovel across the driveway. I was laughing so hard...it really made my day and from the sounds of things she had that affect on alot of people...always making them smile and laugh. Rest in peace girl, and sending lots of love and healing energy to your boys.
