Obituary of Roy Donald Corbin
CORBIN, Roy Donald
Age 77, of the Windsor Elms, Falmouth. With saddened hearts we announce the passing of our loving father, husband, grandfather, brother and uncle on Wednesday, May 30, 2018. Born June 29, 1940 in Halifax, he was a son of the late Roy and Gladys (Stewart) Corbin.
Roy was an Electrician by trade, contractor by heart. He loved wood carving, drawing, fishing and spending time with family and friends and the occasional good cigar along with Tim’s coffee and sweets.
He is survived by daughter, Melanie (Andy VanVessem), Falmouth; son, Thomas (Corrine Newell), Sackville; sisters, Dolores Crane; Lorraine Purcell; Judie (Brian Neville); Shirley (Allan Heffler); Linda Corbin; Patricia (Rick Grant); Christine (Adrian Cowling); brother, Carl (Helena Corbin); grandchildren, Sean Slade-Newell, Nicole (Jordan Burke), Nikita VanVessem (Burd Cross); and many nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents, Roy was predeceased by his loving wife, Jacqueline (Moss) Corbin.

Arrangements have been entrusted to DeMont Family Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 419 Albert St., Windsor (902-798-8317). A celebration of life will take place at the Falmouth Community Hall, 147 Falmouth Back Road, on Wednesday, June 6 from 2-4 p.m. Donations in memory of Roy may be made to Parkinson Society Maritime Region, 150-7071 Bayers Rd., Halifax.
