Sincere condolences for the loss of Frances who will be remembered fondly for her many attributes as described in the numerous condolences written by those who knew her well as an adult.
I (Nancy) remember Frances from our family visits to her parent's farm in my youth. My mother (Anna) and Alvin were siblings so when we visited my grandparents, Dawson and Marguerite Mitton, in Port Elgin we would often also visit Bertha and Alvin. I have good memories of delicious meals prepared by Bertha with fresh vegetables and great fun getting together with my six female cousins and roaming around the farm and barns. The Frances I recall had a cheerful spirit and an ever present smile.

I am so very sorry to hear of Cousin Frances' passing....Susan had sent me a note on 08 April that she was not doing well...I was very saddened to hear....my memories of Frances go back to our youth.....lots of close family gatherings....then we grow up and start our own families....and time passes....Eric & I had made it down twice to visit...truly enjoyed our time.....It pleases me to read that most every one has commented on HER smile.....it is one of the many things I shall always remember.....I don't believe I ever remember a frown....Do to health issues of my own I won't be able to make it down....but please know you are all in my heart and prayers. The world has lost a beautiful soul! I was so saddened to read of Fran’s passing even though I haven’t seen her in a very long time. She was a complete woman who loved her family and her life. We were chaperones on the school trip to Ottawa together and I have fond memories of our time together. Her courage after two bouts of ill health was admirable and I felt it was a privilege to spend time with her. She will get heaven in order for the rest of us. Love to all.
