Mrs. Harris and family:
We are so saddened to learn of Vic's passing. He was one of my favourite friends during my Windsor school days when the town was my "stomping" ground. We shared trips and stories with a mutual friend from Currie's Corner who alternated trips to visit a cousin in Connecticut during summer vacations. It was a wonderful time.

I have so many good memories of being in his class. Some of my best from school actually. I’m not sure if he was aware of this or not but he was actually a larger than life figure to a lot of us when we came through in the early/mid nineties.

I am so saddened that my dear friend and neighbour Vic has passed. He was one of the kindest individuals I have ever had the pleasure of knowing. We grew close over the years and I looked up to him like a big brother - which he certainly was to me.
Vic enriched the lives of so many people, through his teaching career and beyond just by talking and helping others.
My deepest condolences to his family, especially his exceptional wife of many years, Connie, who worked so hard making sure his quality of life was as good as it could possibly be - and for being his best friend.
