Dear Katherine, Christine and Jamie and all the grand kids, I am sad with you at Dolly’s passing, and it would have been wonderful for me to be there for the funeral to celebrate with you Dolly’s life. I have wonderful memories meeting Dolly at Katherine’s wedding, and then later when I visited Nova Scotia and stayed in Falmouth at the house. I still have woollen socks gifted to me from Dolly and Christine, that are coming in very handy (footy) this cold winter! I am sending all my best wishes and tributes for Dolly and to the whole family at this special time, with much affection. Peter

Deepest sympathy to all of you on the loss of Dolly. Growing up Christmas was not complete until Mum and I had a visit with Dolly and got the opportunity to admire all of her beautiful homemade Christmas ornaments. She was a great neighbour and a lovely person.

I was so sorry to hear of your mother's passing. I enjoyed her company when she visited me in Cape Breton with you and Marianne. She was a sweetheart. She always brought her knitting and sat chatting with us while her fingers worked away. I think she enjoyed my cooking experiments.
