Hello McClare Family,
I tried to get to the funeral today but all I got was lost. I had hoped to meet and catch up with you after the service. Its been a long time, John, maybe since the retreat in 1972 when you did a solo, accompanying yourself on the guitar. Do you still play and sing?
Saw you, Roseanne, at Oasis several years ago. Hello again. I can still picture the little toddler staring me very solemnly while sucking her thumb. Your Mom had dropped you off at our home in Salisbury when she had to do errands in Moncton. That was our first introduction. You didn't say much.
Tim, I remember you bringing the special music at Wolfville Baptist when Dr. Andrew MacRae was the special speaker. You did an excellent job.
Lot of water under the bridge. I only met your mother twice. However, meeting and knowing several of her children, I can sense what a loss you are experiencing. I lost Mom 5 years ago and I still miss her badly.

We were sorry to learn of the death of your mother. We have memories of her giving leadership in churches and in our denomination. We are grateful that she was following the Lord Jesus who said, "I am the resurrection and the life. Whoever believes in me though they die, yet shall they live. Please accept my sincere condolences on your mother's passing. Pearl and I shared some time while singing in Roger Taylor's choir and later through the funeral home when Rev. Donald McClare would be called upon to provide his ministry at services. She was an enjoyable person to be around and lived such a purposeful life - so vibrant and interesting. She and Donald were a great couple. Rest in peace Pearl.
