I've known Laurie since I was about 10 years old, and he always treated me like another son. He jumped right into the heart of my wife, Darlene the first time she met him when he told her she had laughing eyes. He was an amazing man, and will be sadly missed, and fondly remembered.

Barb, Charlie, and Bob, I am very sad to hear that Laurie passed away. I always thought of him as such a tough old hunter/fisherman that he would outlive us all. He was always so good to me that I have always missed him since I moved away from Hantsport, just like I have always missed the entire Newcomb family. All of you were a huge part of my life growing up (especially Charlie) that I know a big part of who I am is because of our friendship and the times that we spent together. Take care.
