Obituary of Nadine Iris Dill

DILL, Nadine Iris (Lynn) 70, of Ellershouse, Hants Co., passed away on Sunday, September 3, 2017 in the QEII, Halifax. Born in Port George, NS, Nadine was a daughter of the late Ronald Lynn and Elsie (Hobday) Lynn. Nadine worked for 13 years at The Chickenburger in Bedford before becoming a stay-at-home mom. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and aunt. She loved doing crosswords, reading, and gardening. Nadine is survived by children, Duane (Samantha); Devota (Arlis) Ritchie; Dana (Rockey); and Daryl (Laura); grandchildren, Amanda (Michael); Dustin (Valerie); Devin (Britnie); Roger (Laura); Amber (Shane); Jonathan (Emilee); Derrick (Meghan); Kelsie, Chelsie, Hunter and Sabrina; 13 great-grandchildren; sisters, Pat (Lewis) Brimicombe and Tracey (Garnet) Carey; as well as several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, Nadine was predeceased by husband, Laurie William Dill; sister-in-law, Pat (Dill) Crowell; brother-in-law, Bill Crowell; and her companion, Gary Sanford. Arrangements have been entrusted to DeMont Family Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 419 Albert St., Windsor (902-798-8317). There will be no service by request.
