From the Boyd family... To our Dad
We thought of you with love today,
But that is nothing new.
We thought about you yesterday
And days before that, too.
We think of you in silence.
We often speak your name.
Now all we have is memories
And your picture in a frame.
Your memory is our keepsake
With which we'll never part.
God has you in his keeping.
We have you in our heart.
Marion, John, Wayne, Kenny, Barry, Otto
And all the Grand Kids

Dear Martina:
It was with sadness when we learned of John's passing. Unfortunately we only had the privilege of meeting him the day before his passing. He seemed to be a very nice gentleman and after reading his obituary he must have been a wonderful husband, dad and granddad.
Know you will miss him so very much but with pleasant memories of years gone by may they help ease your sorrow at this difficult and sad time.
With our deepest and sincerest sympathy to you and all your family.
Kind regards
Harvey, Helen and Judy Lively

Many years ago my brother, who had been hospitalized due to a debilitating health issue, was in the old Windsor Hospital. He and John were in the same ward and they struck up a friendship. After that John would often go to visit my brother and my aging parents who were my brother's caregivers. They would spend the time sharing stories and laughing together. My brother had few visitors so these visits meant a lot to him. As mentioned in the obituary, John listened to him.
My brother and my parents have been gone for many years, but I have never forgotten "Johnny's" kindness to them. It was much appreciated by my family.
With deepest sympathy,
Mary MacKenzie
