U always treated me like ur daughter..I loved u like i was too.

I remember the phone calls I got on a stormy night to see if I got home from work safe. The date squares and pies that were not "up to standards" that I got to sample. The countless evenings we sat in a hospital room while she was recovering from her hip and heart surgery talking about how we both disliked being in a hospital. Her love of painting, the Blue Jays, the stories of her youth and her love of her family. Her reply of "Hard for me to do" when I told her to "Take care and be good"

Her fear of growing old and not being of health or mind. She was sharp of mind, wit and kindness to the last.

I will remember it all and and as we agreed a long time ago - no regrets.

I would say good night to my mom every night as i tucked her in bed i would say , " love you to the moon " she say " love you to the stars" now Mom you are the brightest star !
