Ruth was a friend and valued member of our community. I first met her when my wife and I and our baby son Sheldon moved to Windsor Forks in 1954. She and her family made us feel welcome and became valued friends and pillars of the community. She will be missed by all who new this lovely lady.

I came to know and respect Ruth through the Sons of Temperance when I was but a teenager.. She and John presented some memorable programs. The old hall in Martock provided many cherished memories.. There are no-words to express how very sad I am to know that " Auntie Ruth " has passed away. She was a Special friend; a true Lady and will be missed by everyone.
I loved her wonderful sense of humour....her smile....her caring....everything about her and I will treasure her friendship always.
To the family, I am thinking of you all with much love and sincere sympathy. You were lucky to have had such a special mother and to have had her for so long. I know you will all have many great memories that you will always hold dear.
She may be gone but she will always live-on, in the hearts of those who loved her.

I am very happy we got to spend a day with her every year to celebrate her and Nicholas birthdays. She was a very kind, generous active women who never forgot a card on birthdays or special events. She spread wisdom to many, extended a helping hand for many years and we will always have fond memories of stories, pictures, small simple talks on how our lives and families were and the talking toys; especially the spraying skunk. This past year, Ruth was quite amazed on how Nicholas was growing so tall and it was very nice to see her smile over our little doggie trying to play with her toys and showing her his tricks. Always missed but never forgotten.

Im not a good writer but I wanted to get a few words in and send my Condolences, The Daniels Family Is a amazing Family and she was a big part of it all , She took me in and took me camping on graves island and always treated me like family rather it be letting me hang out at the farm when I didnt want to be home or just making me feel like I was apart of the family...She Treated me like one of her grandsons and I wouldnt be as good of a person as I am today with out those little moments of compassion that she showed and she showed it to everyone! Im a great crokinole player, I still watch the price is right and I still have empathy for others and these are traits I learned In Ruth and Johns home ...I wish I would have had a chance to tell her in my adult years thank you and I love you. I Know if anyone is making it in to heaven its going to be her and we are all lucky to have known Ruth Daniels
