Obituary of Madeline Helena Benedict

BENEDICT, Madeline Helena Madeline Benedict passed away on January 23, 2016 at the age of 84 at Dykeland Lodge, Windsor. Born in Bramber, she was a daughter of the late Melvin and Ellen (Ross) Mills. She was a housewife all her life and took pride in having a clean home. She also enjoyed singing in the choir at St. George's Anglican Church and working at the church suppers. She is survived by her daughter, Patricia, Kingston; son, Donald and his wife Mel, Perth, Australia; grandchildren, Lindsay, Wolfville and Hayley, Perth, Australia; as well as her sister, Shirley, Windsor. She was predeceased by her husband, Howard; brother, Charlie Ross and sisters, Florence Spiers and Jenny Smith. Arrangements have been entrusted to DeMont Family Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 419 Albert St., PO Box 981, Windsor, NS B0N 2T0 (902-798-8317). A private family graveside service will be held at a later date. Donations in memory of Madeline may be made to a charity of one's choice.
