LITTLE, Ronald Perley - 69, Berwick, formerly of Somerset, Kings Co., passed away on Thursday, March 29, 2012, after a sudden onset of illness, and four weeks of exceptional care from the staff at VRH Emergency, VRH ICU, QE II Health Sciences 5.2 and 3A Intensive Care Units. Born in Colchester, England, he was a son of Dorothy C. (North) Little, Berwick, and the late Ivan H. Little. Ronald had worked as a mason and then in the transportation industry first as a driver and later as a dispatcher until his retirement. He was a veteran of the Berwick and District Volunteer Fire Department. Ronald was an avid woodworker and has left many examples of his craftsmanship to his family and friends. His love of Ford trucks was well known and he enjoyed the hours he spent driving. Ronald had been a volunteer driver with Kings Para-Transit.Besides his mother he is survived by his wife, N. Louise (Best) Little, Berwick; children, Mark (Coralee) & daughters, Karlissa and Mikayla, Winnipeg, Man.; Randy (Bonny) & daughters, Reanne and Amber, Berwick; Kendall (Gina) & children, Chase & Lauren, who were the light of his life, Quispamsis, N.B.; Alex (Lindsay), Port Williams; brothers, Robert, Coldbrook; Arthur (Sandra), Kingston; sisters, Valerie (Wayne) Patterson, Somerset; Patricia (Howard) Olmstead, South Berwick; Pamela (Eric) Pinner, Aylesford; Jacqueline Little, Montreal, Que.; many nieces and nephews. Besides his father, he was predeceased by a daughter-in-law, Sherry Little.Arrangements have been entrusted to Bryce Johnstone and DeMont Family Funeral Homes and Cremation Service (902-538-8317). There will be no visitation. Funeral service will take place at 3 p.m., Monday, April 2, in the Berwick Baptist Church, 265 Commercial St., Berwick. Rev. Marilyn Rose officiating, with burial in the Berwick Cemetery.
