Obituary of Barbara Alice Budd

BUDD, Barbara Alice Age 83, of Dartmouth. It is with broken hearts we announce her peaceful passing on Saturday, February 14, 2015 in the Dartmouth General Hospital, with her granddaughters, Deanna and Angie by her side. Born on July 19, 1931 in Moncton, N.B., she was the only child of the late Donald and Gladys (Gould) Dunbrack. Barbara was a 23 year employee of Hudsons Bay Co. in Toronto, retiring in 1996. She moved to Eastwood Manor, Dartmouth, where she enjoyed her weekly activities with the company of friends. She enjoyed cross stitching, Swedish weaving and knitting, along with other crafts. She is survived by her children, David, Donna, Terry and Nancy; grandchildren, Deanna, Angie, Chris, Stephen, T.J., Barb and Ashley; great-grandchildren, Alexandria, Kyle, Kaitlin, Jacob, Ashlyn and Neveah; great-great-grandson, Ryan. A very special heartfelt thank you, to her very close and dear friend of many years, Glenna Sellars. Also, special thank you to her nearest and dearest friends for your love and support. We will miss her deeply but she will forever be in our hearts. Arrangements have been entrusted to DeMont Family Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 419 Albert St., PO Box 981, Windsor, NS B0N 2T0 (902-798-8317). As per her request there will be no visitation or funeral service. In celebration of her life, as per her request, a family gathering will be held at a location she has chosen at a later date.
