Dear Tony, Trisha, Jessica and Ashley,
When I heard about the accident and what happened to Justin, I was horrified!
I don't know why these things happen, but they do.
Dad blames the dept of Highways for raising their plow blades so they don't scrape the road, leaving exposed ice ... Who knows why he was there at that moment and not a few minutes later or earlier.
Justin was a fantastic person and we were all Blessed to have known him. I can't imagine the overwhelming pain you all are feeling at losing him.
I pray God will grant you the peace only He can give.

I honestly can't find the works to express how sincerely sorry we are for your loss. You are a beautiful family & you will support each other through this difficult time. Trish I will always remember you with your camera taking pictures of your kids any chance you got. I also remember you telling me that you have scrapbooks for each of your children. I'm sure in time you will look back through the years and be thankful you took so many pictures. When such horrible accidents happen like this one we only have our memories and pictures to remind us of beautiful moments in life. Our family has been blessed to have known Justin through our years in minor hockey together. Justin's wonderful positive attitude and friend to all philosophy will always be remembered by our family. There are never right words to express the sorrow which one feels in situations which are such great losses. Justin was so good to mom as all of you have been and actions say so much about people and they say you are all amazing just as he was. Terrible things rob us of our loved ones and I know your hearts are broken but you need to remember all the smiles and great times and hopefully the pain will dull and in time the great times will bring a smile to your face when you least expect it.

I had the the pleasure to meet this wonder young man this summer in Newfoundland when Robyn's and Matt got married. He spent a small bit of time at my house for the celebration of the wedding and he was a delight, polite, happy (joking) and sweetest young man i had the pleasure to meet. He thanked me so many times for the meal, for opening my home to them for the celebration and he even gave me a hug that I remember like it was yesterday. I remember him dancing around the dance floor with so much joy and zest for life. I will keep these memories and I know h is memories will always be with you his family & friends.
I lost a child many years ago, and it is the hardest loss to ever happen. We do go on but we never forget. Know that he will always be with you in the memories you hold and with his spirit each and everyday.

Well it is very sad times in Hants Co. and clear across Canada due to the hearing of your passing. I only knew you as a boy, but from what I am told through out the years you were a huge star in 4-H and at Avon.. I was proud to hear that you were Co Prime minister while in high school.. I am really sorry to hear the loss of Justin, he coached my Bantam B hockey team and every time he showed up to the rink he had a great big smile on his face. Always a happy guy and always knew how to cheer people up. If it's either hanging out at the hotel in Saint John or PEI in between games or in the dressing room getting ready to go out on the ice. He always had a smile on his face and loved us all. I had a great time playing for him and i have many memories that I will always have. Dear Tony, Trish, and family,
I was so shocked to hear about Justin's passing. I remember him fondly as a music student at Brooklyn Elementary School. I can still see his smile, hear his giggle, and remember his wonderful sense of humour. He was our "great and powerful Oz". I met Justin when we attended Citzenship seminar in Ottawa in 2009 for 4-H. He quickly became friends with every member that attended.
