Obituary of Henry Osborne Deal

Age 84, of Leminster, Hants Co. It is with profound sorrow that we announce the passing of husband, father, grandfather and brother on Saturday, December 6, 2014 in Hants Community Hospital, Windsor. Born in Leminster, he was a son of the late William and Martha (Legge) Deal.As a young man, Henry worked in the woods with his father. He loved his time working in the woods, especially time cutting logs and driving his tractor. Henry also worked at various other places, including saw mills, on farms and with the Department of Highways. He also enjoyed hunting and fishing in his spare time.He is survived by his wife, the former Frances Power, daughters, Lorraine Kaizer, Western Shore; Barbara Randall, Windsor; Myrna (Farron) Kaizer, Robinsons Corner; Sandra Deal (Steve), Dartmouth; sons, Wilfred (Lorrina), Leminster; Gregory (Rachael), Mount Uniacke and Mark at home; eight grandchildren, six great-grandchildren; brother, Charles (Beatrice) Deal, Centre Rawdon; sisters, Alice O’Leary, Brookfield; and Mary Saunders, Murray Siding; several nieces, nephews and cousins. He will also be greatly missed by his four legged friends, "Kitty Cat" the cat and "Amber" the dog. Besides his parents, Henry was predeceased by granddaughter, Robyn Brown; brothers, Albert and Harry Deal; half sisters, Gertrude Leopold and Edna Sharpe.Arrangements have been entrusted to DeMont Family Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 419 Albert St., PO Box 981, Windsor, B0N 2T0 (902-798-8317). A graveside service, open to everyone, will be held 1:00 p.m., Thursday, December 11, 2014 in All Saints Anglican Church Cemetery, 652 New Ross Rd., Leminster, Rev. Tom Henderson officiating.
