Obituary of Robert Lorne Johnson

Age 85, of Mount Denson, Hants Co., and British Columbia passed away Tuesday, November 11, 2014 in the Halifax Infirmary Site, QEII, Halifax, just shortly after returning to Hants County. Born on April 4, 1929 he was a son of the late Frederick and Frances (Carson) Johnson and step-son of the late Frances Hashem.Robert is survived by daughter, Susan Johnson; sister, Shirley Johnson; half-sister, Carolyn Hancock; brother, Walter; step-brothers; Fred and Peter Hashem. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his wife the former, Helen (Calvert) (Brown); brothers, Victor, Raymond and Oliver and foster sister, Bertha Barker.Arrangements have been entrusted to DeMont Family Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 419 Albert St., PO Box 981, Windsor (902-798-8317). There will be no visitation or funeral service by request. A private burial will be held at a later date in Mount Denson Community Cemetery.
