Obituary of Nancy Lynn Parker

Age 38, of Windsor, Hants Co., passed away on Thursday, October 2, 2014 in Halifax Infirmary, QEII, Halifax. Born on June 17, 1976 in Halifax, she was a daughter of Grace (Purvis) (Parker) Fogarty and the late James Parker.Nancy’s brief life was full of love, happiness and always helping people in many ways. She was an angel on earth; now she stands with God. Besides her mother, Grace Fogarty (Pietrino Marcatilli), Halifax; she is survived by partner, George Nicoll, Windsor; good friend, Joseph Legere, Falmouth; daughters, Sarah Parker-Legere (Andrew Rafuse) and Rylee Nicoll, all of Windsor; brothers, James Parker, Ardrie, Alberta and Terry Fogarty, Windsor; maternal grandparents, June and Garwin Purvis, Windsor; grandfather, Harry Fogarty, Windsor; several aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Besides her father, Nancy was predeceased by her stepdad, Harry C. "Hadd" Fogarty; paternal grandparents, Ken and Emily Parker; grandmother, Lena Fogarty and several aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.The family would like to say a heartfelt thank you to the Doctors, Nurses and Social Workers in Neurology ICU 5.2 at the Halifax Infirmary, QEII.Arrangements have been entrusted to DeMont Family Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 419 Albert St., PO Box 981, Windsor, NS B0N 2T0 (902-798-8317), where visitation will be held Monday, October 6 from 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will be held 4 p.m. Tuesday, October 7 in DeMont Family Funeral Home Chapel, Rev.
