It is hard to say goodbye to a loved one, especially someone like Bev who family meant so much to him. Thank you for allowing the staff of the Elms to be part of your family for the past two years. We have lost a great man but we will always carry Bev with us and on days when we are a little blue we will recall a memory....which would include a little teasing.... and smile fondly remembering him. Dear Gwen, Gayle, David, Peter and Family, We are so sorry to hear about Bev. He made me laugh so often. I think he and I had a fondness for food fights. Flour when making Gwen a cake, ketchup and mustard at a family BBQ. What fun! And to be so forgiving when we ate a flat of eggs! He will be missed so much and to be so unselfish in his final days to want to donate his body to try and find a cure for his horrible disease proves what a kind man he was.
