Of Riverside Corner, Hants Co., passed away at home on April 20, 2014. He was the son of the late Clarence and Gladys (Hartt) Lane.He was a hard worker, working on heavy equipment in the construction industry for many years. He loved the outdoors, hunting, fishing and tending his gardens. He was always willing to lend a hand and helped anyone in need. He enjoyed life, his family, and had a great sense of humour.Clarence is survived by his wife of 59 years, Kathleen "Kaye" (Bishop) Lane; daughters, Kathryn (Eric) Joyce, Brooklyn; Heather (Chris) Hubbard, Bedford; Robyn Williams, Rocky Mountain House, Alta.; Fern (Ken) Hope, Donalda, Alta.; April (Brad) Shiers, Brooklyn; and Gregory, Woodville, Hants Co.; sister, Audrey Conway, Hardwood Lands; brothers, Ronald (Enid), Hillsborough, N.B.; Harley (Marilyn), Stittsville, Ont.; William (Rose), East Ship Harbour; 13 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild. He was predeceased by his brother, Myron.He will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him. A memorial reception will be held from 2-4 p.m. Wednesday, April 23 in the funeral home’s Elmcroft Reception Centre. A time to share memories will be held at 3 p.m. Family flowers only by request.
