Obituary of John B. Yeaton

Age 85, of Hantsport, passed away on Wednesday, January 22, 2014 in Hants Community Hospital, Windsor. Born in Hantsport on June 17, 1928, he was a son of the late Burton and Kathleen (Whitman) Yeaton.He is survived by son, Wayne (Silvia) Yeaton, Calgary, Alberta; grandsons, Shawn and Dean (Carrie) Yeaton, Hantsport; brothers, Lawrence, Sydney (Clara), Hantsport; George (Joan), Kemptville, Ontario; sisters, Lorna (Bernard) Jenkins, Antigonish and Millicent (William) Daniels, Windsor Forks; sister-in-law, Mabel Yeaton, Hantsport; as well as many nieces and nephews. Jack was predeceased by his wife, Lilly and brother, Russell.Jack was a kind and gentle man with a great sense of humour and a deep love of nature. As a child he dreamed of going West and in 1947 he went to Alberta where he worked for many years before returning home to Nova Scotia.Arrangements have been entrusted to DeMont Family Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 419 Albert St., Windsor (902-798-8317).
