Obituary of Donald H. Goudge

Of Stanley, Hants Co., passed away peacefully on January 18, 2014, at the Hants Community Hospital, Windsor, in his 84th year. Born in Murray Harbor, PEI, he was a son of the late Rev. Thomas and Dorothy (Turner) Goudge.Don worked as a short order cook, BC salmon fisherman, landlord and as a security guard during his working career. His hobbies were painting landscapes, going to card parties and bowling. He is survived by brothers, Edward Goudge and Lawrence Goudge; cousin, Malcolm Cogswell.Arrangements have been entrusted to DeMont Family Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 419 Albert St., Windsor (902-798-8317). In keeping with Don's wishes, cremation has taken place. A celebration of Don's life may be included at some of his favorite card parties.
