Age 98, of Falmouth, Hants Co., passed away  peacefully, Wednesday, December 18, 2013 in the Windsor Elms Village, Falmouth. Born in Windsor, she was the daughter of the late George and Sarah "Sadie" (Anderson) Rafuse.Dorothy was a member of the St. George’s Anglican Church and the Ladies Guild in Upper Falmouth. She loved her family, cats, baking, flowers, crafts, reading and going to yard sales.Dorothy will be missed by her daughters, Joan (Anthony) Randazzo, Hamilton, Ont.; Lynda Hartlin (Tom McCarron), Halifax; daughter-in-law, Anne Wilson, Upper Falmouth; grandchildren, Sherry Wilson, Patty Wilson, Heather Phillips, Lisa (Fred) Bower, Tina (Dave) Wickenden, Joanne (Gerry) Owen, Michael Hartlin (Tammy Mariner) and Erin Hartlin (Dave Weagle); 12 great-grandchildren and eight great-great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Harley Wilson; son, Allan; brother, Murray (Nita) Rafuse; granddaughter, Mary Louise and great-granddaughter, Michelle.Special thanks goes to Dr. Leahy for his dedicated care over the years and to the staff of Fundyview House 3 at the Windsor Elms Village, for their support and kindness.Arrangements have been entrusted to DeMont Family Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 419 Albert St., Windsor (902-798-8317), where visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m. on Friday, December 20. Funeral service will take place 2 p.m. Saturday, December 21 in St. George’s Anglican Church, Sangster Bridge Rd., Upper Falmouth, Rev. Tom Henderson officiating. Interment will be held in the St. George’s Anglican Cemetery.
