Age 90, of Windsor, formerly of Falmouth, passed away peacefully with family by his side, Saturday, October 5, 2013 in Dykeland Lodge, Windsor. Born in Windsor on April 29, 1923, he was the son of the late Edmund and Leah (Eldridge) Aalders.Brenton is survived by his son, Leroy (Darlene) Alders, Falmouth; daughter, Donna Alders, Keetwin, Ontario; grandchildren, Jamie (Tara) Alders; Megan (Adam) Houston; Taylor Alders. He was predeceased by his first wife the former, Greta Barkhouse and second wife the former, Emma Roels.Breton served in the Second World War, but was released of duty due to an injury incurred during the war. He played the fiddle all his life and loved music, dancing, story telling and joking with anyone that was around, right up until the very end. During his working years he farmed and worked at CKF and various garages as a mechanic.Arrangements have been entrusted to DeMont Family Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 419 Albert St., Windsor (902-798-8317). There will be no visitation, by family request. A private graveside service will take place in St. George’s Anglican Cemetery, Upper Falmouth, Rev. Tom Henderson officiating.
