Obituary of Kenneth R. Adshade

ADSHADE, Kenneth Ross - of Debert, died suddenly Wednesday, September 25, 2013 due to a heart attack at the age of 57. Born in Debert, he was the youngest son of the late Elmer and Cyretha (Rushton) Adshade.Kenneth was a resident of Debert his entire life. He was very friendly and outgoing, loved nature, animals, children, and a good bet on a hockey game. Kenneth was always willing to help anyone. He worked hard at a number of jobs and for the last 20 years at the chicken hatchery in Debert. He is survived by sisters, Shirley Vacon, Wawa, Ontario; Joyce (Ken) Elms, Shubenacadie; brothers, Jim (Eudora), Debert; John (Judy), Westchester; Eugene (Betty), Valley; Rodney, Cambridge, Ontario; Joseph, St. Mary’s, Ontario; also many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. Also left behind were his best friends Rick, Mary Jane and two little buddies Caine and Drew. He was predeceased by his brothers, Curtis and Elmer "Jr"; sisters, Judy Ann and Mary Ann.A gathering for family and friends will be held on Saturday, October 5, 2013 from 2 to 4 p.m. at the Debert United Church, with burial to follow at 4 p.m., in Plains Road Cemetery, Debert. If you wish to make a donation in memory of Kenneth, wishes are for a Children’s charity of choice.
