Obituary of Diane M. Harris

HARRIS, Diane Margaret – 70, Morristown, Kings Co., passed away suddenly on Thursday, June 27, 2013, in the Valley Regional Hospital, Kentville. Born in Berwick, she was a daughter of the late Wilfrid L. and Carrie M. (Lutz) Carver. Diane was an long-time member of the Morristown Baptist Church, where she had sang in the choir and had been on the flower committee. She was an active member of the Morristown Community Club. Diane was a graduate of Macks Business College, Kentville. She had worked as a secretary at the Berwick Bakery, was later employed at Mountain Crest Farm and assisted when she and her husband owned and operated a service station in Morristown. Diane was a wonderful daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, sister and aunt. Surviving are her husband of 50 years, Glendon W. Harris; daughters, Julia (Jeffery) Robar, Morristown; Natalie (David) LeBlanc, North Alton; grandchildren, Jacob, Jocelyn and Joshua; brother, Glendon (Kaye) Carver, Morristown; several nieces and nephews. Arrangements have been entrusted to DeMont Family Funeral Home & Cremation Service (902-538-8317). There will be no visitation. Funeral service for Diane will take place at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, June 30, in Morristown Baptist Church, 6557 Aylesford Rd., Morristown.
