WEIR (Grant), Helen Isabelle - 82, Centre Rawdon, passed away peacefully, June 25, 2013 in Windsor Elms Village, Falmouth, where she had been a resident. Born August 28, 1931, in Gore, she was the daughter of the late Berton and Elizabeth (Blois) Grant.Helen was a member of St. Paul’s Anglican Church and St. Paul’s Sewing Circle. She enjoyed to travel, music, dancing and a good game of cards. Helen was passionate about her family, especially her grandchildren. Helen is survived by sons, Wayne (Carolyn), Rawdon; Donald (Heather), Falmouth; daughter, Janet Shay (Garth Dunbar), Hantsport; grandchildren, Bonny Boutilier (Ricky), Joseph Weir (Jenn), Mitchell Weir (Kelly), Coady Shay, Danielle Weir and Jared Shay; great-grandchildren, Hayley and Cole Boutilier, Rhett and Behn Weir; brothers, Cameron and Stanley; many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Ivan C. Weir (November 5, 2006); brothers, William and Frank, sisters, Margaret (Leslie) Powell and Annie MacPhee. Arrangements have been entrusted to DeMont Family Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 419 Albert St., Windsor (902-798-8317), where visitation will be held from 6 - 8 p.m. on Friday, June 28. Funeral service will take place 1 p.m. Saturday, June 29 in DeMont Family Funeral Home Chapel,  Rev. Tom Henderson officiating. A reception will follow in the funeral home’s Elmcroft Reception Centre. Private family interment will be held in St. Paul’s Anglican Cemetery, Centre Rawdon. Donations in memory of Helen may be made to Windsor Elms Village, Falmouth or St. Paul’s Anglican Church, Centre Rawdon.
