DILLMAN, Christopher Thomas "Chris" – 42, of Chalet Hamlet, Hants Co., N.S., passed away peacefully, Wednesday, June 19, 2013, surrounded by his loving family in Hants Community Hospital, Windsor. Born in Windsor, he was the son of Elwood and Marilyn (MacKenzie) Dillman.Chris graduated from Horton High School, Kingstec Community College and NSIT with his CNC machining certificate. He loved fishing, hunting with his father and friends at the hunting camp and hockey, which he played for many years. It is also known that he was an avid Montreal Canadiens fan. Chris enjoyed spending time at his home, surrounded by the beauty of the lake.Besides his parents, he is survived by his wife, Jennifer Ann (Burden); sister, Jane Palmer (Adam Fahey); nephew and niece, Nicholas and  Alexandra Palmer and their father, Scott Palmer; father and mother-in-law; Robert and Ann Burden; sister-in-law, Amanda Burden (Richard Fletcher); numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. The family would like to say a special thanks to Dr. Kew and her team, Dr. Mark Kazimirski and all of the family and friends who provided support, care and comfort during this journey.Arrangements have been entrusted to DeMont Family Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 419 Albert St., Windsor (902-798-8317). There will be no visitation by family request. Funeral service will take place 2 p.m. Saturday, June 22 in St. James United Church, 17 Prince Street, Hantsport,  Rev. Heather MacDougall officiating. Private family interment will be held in Riverbank Cemetery, Hantsport with a reception to follow in the church basement. Family flowers only, by request.
