Jean Gertrude Weagle July 3rd 1917 - June 1st 2013Jean passed away peacefully on Saturday, June 1, 2013 in the Windsor Elms Village, Falmouth, at the age of 95. Born in Port Williams, she was the daughter of the late Emerson and Iona (Barron) Hutchinson.She is survived by her son, Gordon (Doris) Weagle; grandchildren, Mark (Tanya) Weagle, Karen Melanson and Christina Weagle; great grandchildren, Caitlin Weagle, Jesse Weagle, Morgan Peddle, Kirby Maillet, Jared Melanson, Farrah Melanson; four step grandchildren and several great great grandchildren; brother, Frank (Madelyn) Hutchinson, Richard (Mary) Hutchinson; sisters, Madeline (Vernon) Davidson, Barbara Joan Miller, Carol (Jim) Legge; sister-in-law, Isabel Melanson; brother-in-law, Chester Reese and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Kenneth Weagle; brother, Ralph Hutchinson; sisters, Frances Wellwood, Mildred Lutwick, Dorothy Reese and Margaret Rose Hutchinson; and brothers-in-law, Lawrence Lutwick, Theodore Miller and Arnold Wellwood.Jean will be fondly remembered as a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. Family was very important to her and she was always willing to lend a helping hand. She was a faithful member of the Hantsport Baptist Church and was a former member of the Kings Daughters. She enjoyed gardening, knitting and reading, but her fondest time was spent with family and friends at her summer cottage. For a short time she worked at Austin Simpson Jewellery Store.Arrangements have been entrusted to DeMont Family Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 419 Albert St., Windsor (902-798-8317), where visitation will be held from 7-9 p.m. Wednesday, June 5. Funeral service will take place 2 p.m. Thursday, June 6 in Hantsport Baptist Church, corner of Main and Willow Street, Hantsport,  Rev. Dan Jamer officiating. Interment will be held in Riverbank Cemetery, Hantsport, followed by a reception in the Hantsport Baptist Church Fellowship Hall.
