I just read of Darrell's passing and wish to pass along my sincerest sympathy on your loss. Although I only worked with him a couple of years when he was Deputy Minister of Natural Resources, he was so kind in welcoming me to the Department. I appreciated his wisdom and advice and know he will be sorely missed by all his family.

Dear Linda & Jan
I was so sad to hear of Darrell’s passing on Christmas Eve. Darrell was a quiet man with an unforgettable presence. We were close friends to Darrell & Linda and the times spent together will never be forgotten. We sometimes met in Mahone Bay and had lunch together, sometimes we went to Halls Harbour for lobster rolls. Some of our best memories were made in Florida. We had such fun going to Estate Sales looking for a special treasure. We walked the beaches together, went out to dinner and just enjoyed being together. Darrell was a gentleman and I always felt that he and Linda were made for each other. He will never be forgotten.
