Dear Elizabeth and family,
I may have only known Clarence for four years but he has had quite an impact on my life. We often exchanged books and I loved his stories of Edinburgh and coming to Canada and his family. He was the highlight of my work day. I really enjoyed the antics of his Tuesday card games with his (friends(?). He would often say that they weren’t very nice fellows, when he was loosing badly, but there was always laughter. He was always willing to add to the shenanigans of what ever was going on in the lounge that would generate the greatest laughter. So many people would tell me that he was the best teacher they ever had. Well, he was the best customer I have ever had. I will miss him and his humour greatly.

Our sincere condolences to the family at your sad loss. Clarence was a former work mate at Windsor Regional High with Charlie, and they shared a few trout fishing trips together in the long ago, and maybe a card game or two ... ?? Marg remembers his unique singing voice from the music side of things.
Our positive thoughts are with you all at this time.

My sincere condolences go out to you, Elizabeth, and your family. I have wonderful memories of Mr. Watson as my Latin teacher at WRHS. As one-half of the Grade 12 Latin class, with a nightly climb through the “hole in the fence” in order to attend, I certainly appreciate how he gave of his own time to two keen students. He was one of those teachers whose positive impact is long lasting. He will be missed.

To Clarence's family Iam so sorry for your loss. I had Clarence an English teacher at WRHS . He was a good teacher with a dry since of humour. We always had some good laughs together. I use to drop into the Windsor Legion at times just for a visit just to have a chat with him. He was a good man and I'm going to really miss him.

To the Watson family, I was saddened to hear of the passing of Mr Watson. I remember living in Windsor, coming over to your house and Mr Watson always being so nice to me. When I lived at your place to finish grade 8 , I was treated as if I were part of your family. He is the person that got me to think of the Cleveland Browns and Indians ( known at the time). He was a great man. My prayers are with each of you.

I would like to send my condolences. As with so many others Mr. Watson was one of my favourite teachers. I still remember reading Eagle of the Ninth and many other books. Sadly my forte was never grammar and when final exams was approaching he told the class if you get 50 on your report card I gave it to you. Thanks for the gift.

Such sad news. Condolences to the Watson family. He taught both myself and my wife at WRHS, and teach he did. McBeth and other classics that actually came to life under his guidance. Difficult reads but great stories. And he knew how to have a great time with his fellow workers and friends. They all contributed to making WHRS one of the premier education opportunities in NS. Reading his obituary was so enlightening and I wish I had known his background while I was at school. Thanks for that. He will be missed.
