Obituary of Carol Stevens-McKinnon

Age 67, of Garlands Crossing, formerly of Ontario, passed away peacefully on Sunday, November 24, 2024 in Hants Community Hospital, Windsor. Born in Halifax on September 25, 1957, she was the daughter of the late Alan and Norah (Jewers) Wilkinson.

Joanne worked at Pioneer Balloon Canada in Hamilton, Ontario before her retirement.

She is survived by her husband, Angus Bernard “Bernie” McKinnon; daughter, Cheri (Russell) LeBlanc, McKay Section; step-son, Bernard Joseph McKinnon, Banff, AB; granddaughter, Kristyn LeBlanc, Hamilton, ON; brothers, Richard (Linda) and Tony (Debbie) Wilkinson, both of Hamilton, ON; several nieces and nephews.

Arrangements for cremation have been entrusted to DeMont Family Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 419 Albert St., Windsor (902-798-8317).
