Obituary of Laura Constance Lowthers

Age 92, of Three Mile Plains, passed away on Sunday, September 15, 2024 in Hants Community Hospital, Windsor. Born on July 31, 1932 in Windsor, she was a daughter of the late Allen and Ruby (Shanks) Galley.

Laura was a homemaker who loved her family and her four-legged furry grandchildren. She also enjoyed baking.

She is survived by son, Dale; daughters, Ruby (Darrell) Redden, Valerie (David) Milner and Janice (Tom Thompson) Redden; son-in-law, Brad Lunn; grandsons, Jason (Trish) Lowthers and Jon (Heather) Lowthers; great-granddaughter, Tori Lowthers.

Laura was predeceased by her husband, Roland Lowthers; daughter, Judy Lowthers; daughter-in-law, Maureen Lowthers; sisters, Dorothy Shiers, Edna Thorpe and Kathleen Davis (Best Friend); brothers, Roy, Clarence, Alex, Bert and Guy Galley.

Arrangements for cremation have been entrusted to DeMont Family Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 419 Albert St., Windsor (902-798-8317). A private family service will be at a later date.
