Obituary of Brian Thomas Robarts

Age 72 of Windsor. The family mourn the tragic loss of Brian and his son, Jonathan. Born in Windsor on October 19, 1951, Brian was son of the late Thomas and Agnes (Pipes) Robarts. Brian is survived by his brother, Curtis (Helen); his sister, Valerie (Graham); several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews; as well as Veronica, mother of Jonathan and Brian’s lifelong friend.

The youngest of his three siblings, Brian grew up in Avondale. As a young man he worked on Gypsum Boats and enjoyed sailing to a variety of ports, especially Jamaica. Brian attended Community College. He became a draftsman with the city of Halifax and later worked as a city planner. After retiring, Brian worked as a taxi driver in Windsor for several years. 

Brian was a devoted father to his son Jonathan, and a lover of plants and animals, especially dogs.
