Thinking of Aunt Barbara today with a smile on my face.
Sitting in Grams kitchen having tea and listening to her and Gram, keeping my mouth closed. lol
She certainly didn't mind sharing her opinion or giving you a piece of her mind.
So sad to think of all our family that have passed.

Many, many happy memories of spending time with Barb! Suppers at her home, trips to Maitland for the Christmas festival, singing in the choir at St.James, lunches at Grand Pre, working in the kitchen at St.James, so many visits and trips. She was our premier cat sitter when we were away. Memories for ever....

I first met Barb when she visited Brooklyn Elem. as a school nurse. I quickly came to appreciate her kind but no-nonsense approach to everything from vaccinations to head lice! And, of course, she had a great laugh. I always enjoyed meeting up with her in later years when she would be out and about with Linda or Pam. A great person!

My heart goes out to all the McKay family. Barb was someone that I had great respect for. Her house was an important place in my teenage years. I spent many happy hours and days there and was always welcomed even though it meant an extra person at the already full table. Barb had a long and rich life and worked hard.
