I didn't know it at the time..but 48 years ago as I entered the Aberdeen Hospital School of Nursing that not only was I going to meet my best friend Peggy....but also ..my best friend "Butch". The best BOGO ever !! Thanks for all the pre dawn drives to the airport...cooking my favorite pork chops when I visited...Best man at my wedding...visiting my family in Florida with the girls even though the US beer made your trip home a GI nightmare (that still makes me belly laugh )...allowing my boys to call you Uncle Butch....and most of all...Thanks for loving my best friend !!
