Please share a memory of Frank to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Frank Tracey, age 73, of Windsor Forks, in the VG Site - QEII Health Sciences Centre, Halifax on Tuesday, June 25, 2024. Born on July 31, 1950, in Berwick he was a son of the late Charles and Daphne (Sampson) Tracey.

Frank was a loving husband for 50 years to his late wife, JoAnne Edna (Melvin). He was a devoted father to Frank Jr., Sheila Wile and Brian. He was a beloved grandfather to his seven grandchildren, Charles and Corey Greaves, Amy, Jennifer and Andrew Wile and Cameron and Megan Tracey. As well as his children and grandchildren, Frank is survived by sister, Mary Baker (nee Tracey).

Besides his parents and wife, Frank was predeceased by a son, Glen; brother, Robert Sampson and sister, Barb Hiltz (nee Tracey).

Frank's family was his pride and joy and he cherished every moment he spent with them. Frank loved sports. If the Maple Leafs or the Blue Jays were playing you knew he'd be watching. In the 80's he coached many baseball teams in the Windsor area. Frank was also a very hard worker and a dedicated employee. He started working for GS Concrete at 18 and after 50 years he finally retired and took up gardening. He was a proud member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints where he held many different roles. Frank was a kind and generous person and was always the first to volunteer if someone needed some help.

Arrangements have been entrusted to DeMont Family Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 419 Albert St., Windsor (902-798-8317), where visitation will be held Friday, June 28 from 7-9 p.m. A funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Saturday, June 29 at 11:00 a.m., Bishop Charles Spinney officiating.
