We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of Joan Marjorie Tucker (nee Harvie), of Windsor, who left this world on Monday, June 17, 2024, at the age of 76.

Joan always shared a warm smile and a kind word with everyone she encountered. Her presence was a source of happiness, touching countless lives with her genuine warmth and positivity. Whether she was greeting friends or offering a comforting note to a post on social media, her cheerful spirit was truly infectious.

Born on March 23, 1948, Joan lived a life rich in love and compassion. She was the devoted partner of the late Garnet Levy, a loving mother to her children, Tammy (Sylvain) Nadeau, Cheryl (Chris) Sarazin and Dorinda (Darryl) Lane; a proud grandmother to Natasha, Anthony, Alysha, Kelsie and Tyler. Joan was also blessed to have two great-grandchildren, Gage and Nora. Family was her greatest joy and she cherished every moment spent with them.

Joan was the last surviving member of her immediate family. She was a daughter of the late Raymond and Gladys (Caldwell) Harvie. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her siblings, Carl, James, Ruth, Marion and Edna.

Joan’s legacy of kindness and happiness will live on in the hearts of all who knew her. She leaves behind a community that will always remember her bright smile and the joy she brought into their lives.

Arrangements for cremation have been entrusted to DeMont Family Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 419 Albert St., Windsor (902-798-8317). As per Joan’s wishes, a private graveside burial, for immediate family members, will be held in Maplewood Cemetery, Windsor. The family appreciate your understanding during this difficult time. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in memory of Joan be made to the Hants Co.
