Obituary of Eunice Jean Myers

Age 90, of Kerrville, TX, USA, passed away in her home at Mountain Villa Assisted Living Facility, Kerrville, on Friday, June 14, 2024. Born in McKay Section, Hants Co., on March 3, 1934, she was the daughter of the late Ralph and Jean (Gilbert) Robinson.

After graduating from the Victoria General Hospital School of Nursing, she set out, with nursing friends to California, “for a year”.  She spent her career working at various hospitals in San Francisco and Los Angeles. At retirement, she and husband, Carl, moved to Kerrville.

Eunice was formerly an active member of the Kerrville Church of The Nazarene. During her summers, while living in Windsor, she also attended the Windsor Church of the Nazarene.

She is survived by brother, Glenn (Elizabeth) Robinson, Garlands Crossing and niece, Natalie Robinson, New Zealand; sister-in-law, Hilda Robinson, Burlington, ON and niece, Carol Robinson, Burlington, ON and Dartmouth; as well as, several cousins.

Besides her parents, Eunice was predeceased by husband, Carl “Cotton” Myers and brother, Donald Robinson.

Arrangements have been entrusted to DeMont Family Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 419 Albert St., Windsor (902-798-8317), where a time of remembrance will be held in the funeral home chapel at 11:00 am, Friday, July 5, 2024, Celebrant Helen Lindsay officiating. A reception will immediately follow in the funeral home’s Elmcroft Reception Centre. In lieu of flowers, donations to a charity of one’s choice would be most appreciated.
