Obituary of Janet Mae Etter

Age 88, of Windsor, Hants Co., passed away peacefully on Friday, June 7, 2024 in her home at Dykeland Lodge, Windsor. Born in Belmont, Hants Co., she was a daughter of the late G. Munro and Lottie (Benedict) Davis.

Janet had many jobs through the years, from working in the telephone office to the old Payzant Memorial Hospital and finally as a medical secretary to several physicians.

She is survived by daughter, Trina Deal; son, Craig Etter; grandsons, Philip (Kirsten), Colin and Jared (Haleigh) Deal; sister, Kathleen (Jim) Druchet; brother, Ron (Laurie) Davis; numerous nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents, she was predeceased by husband, Graham.

Arrangements for cremation have been entrusted to DeMont Family Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 419 Albert St., Windsor (902-798-8317). The family will receive visitors to celebrate Janet’s life on Monday, June 24 anytime between 11am - 1 p.m., in the funeral home’s Elmcroft Reception Centre. A private family burial will be held in St. Silas Cemetery, Belmont. No flowers by request.
