Sincere condolences to all of Goldie's family. She loved her family and was very proud of all their accomplishments. She will be remembered in many ways for her steady involvement in her community. When I think of Goldie, I immediately think of 4-H. So many young people were influenced and benefited from her dedication and commitment to this valuable organization. Cherish your memories. My sister Susan and myself have many fond memories from our time that our parents owned a cottage on Murphy Lake. Duckie and Goldie were common names with young and old. Thank you for the memories of us "city kids" who always enjoyed the fun times.

Stan and I were so shocked and sad to hear that Goldie passed away. In life it seems like there are some people who are so full of life that we just think they ll go on forever, how will the world manage without them, Goldie was one of those people. She created so many opportunities for kids in our community, ours included , we are so grateful. She said what was on her mind, a refreshing quality, and wanted to know what was on yours. She will be together again with Duckie, organizing things in heaven and making sure everyone is having fun! We'll miss you Goldie, ❤

I was saddened to learn of Goldie's passing.She was a wonderful 4H leader to my girls and a great mentor to me when I helped her co lead at Border Riders.I learned so much about 4H from her.Her love of the 4H program was evident at every level.
She was a mainstay in Mt.Denson and beyond as her obituary so aptly described.She will be missed.

My sincerest condolences on the passing of your mom. Your mom and dad were definitely two people who I think of when I think of Mt. Denson. When they say it takes a village to raise kids, I feel that your parnets were definitely part of the village.
I absolutely loved 4-H because of your entire family! I loved that your mom pushed us to do and be better. The experiences I had in 4-H made this shy kid more confident. It gave me so many opportunities that I wouldn’t have experienced if it wasn’t for 4-H and your mom being the general leader. I definitely appreciate all that she did for us.
I hope you all know that your mom made a difference in my life and for that I am so appreciative.

We had the pleasure of meeting Goldie when she came to Calgary last year. Her presence and personality exuded all the positive values and traits documented in her excellent obituary. During our short visit it was obvious that Goldie lived with zest, curiosity and contagious joy. She was an excellent puzzler with all the right skills for success: strategy, patience and determination. She was generous with her kindness and good humour, and she left with us a lasting impression of her warm personality. Forever, we will be grateful we met Goldie. Thank you to all those closest who loved her for sharing her with the world. With affection and in memory of someone truly special; Goldie, we will remember you always.
