I remember when I first meet Yvonne she was an amazing funny lady and always wanted me to play cards with her when I was working. So I would do so when i was on my break and she was so happy. She also loved her word books.

I recall meeting Yvonne shortly after she moved to the Lodge. She had quite the potty mouth, but I liked her instantly. Times came around that my uncle Frank had also moved to the Lodge and the two became friends, and then some. When Drank passed on, Yvonne had laid claim to his name plate, which ai now have herebat home. Yvonne enjoyed many of my homemade treats over the years; in particular my homemade pizza. She also told me she enjoyed my homemade turkey soup, which she claims she never did like. Many sweet treats were also shared with her. I treated her like one of my own family members.
I was shocked to learn of her passing when ai went to work on Tuesday morning. I have also let my own family members know as well. She will always have a special place in my heart, as well as many others, and her smile is etched in my heart as well. Rest in peace, sweet Yvonne, for your time was cut far too short here on Earth. Fly high with your fellow angels!

My heart is heavy with sadness after hearing the news of Yvonne’s passing. She was a woman like no other and thoughts of her always bring a smile to my face. Being out of the province is torture and I long to be grieving with my family at this time.
Know that my family ( the Landry's) are sending all of the love and support we can during these difficult times.
I love everyone beyond measure.
Take Carexoxoxox

To Yvonne's family, my deepest condolences to all. I met Yvonne when my mom was a resident on the Blenkhorn unit. She went to school with my sisters and brother-in-law. I loved chatting with Yvonne, as she didn't pull any punches, she said it as it was. She often had me in tears of laughter. She loved my peanut butter cookies and she would often ask when I was making them again. I will be sad not to see her. May she rest in peace.
