Obituary of Patricia Lynn Eldridge

We, the family, are sad to announce that on Friday, May 17, 2024, Patricia “Pat” Lynn (Kelly) Eldridge passed away peacefully, in her sleep of natural causes, in the Windsor Elms Village, Falmouth, at the age of 73. Born on February 27, 1951 in Windsor, she was a daughter of the late Ronald “Ron” and Selena (MacKenzie) Kelly.

She was a woman who loved with her whole heart and gave everything she had and more to her family and loved ones. She fiercely cared for her seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren and her beloved Friday night sleepovers were a thing of pure giving. You would never be alone once Pat had loved you.

Pat is survived by loving sons, Mark and Aaron Eldridge and Justin Dorman; six grandchildren, Brianna and George Eldridge, Carson Eldridge and Kelly, Alex and Grace Dorman; four great-grandchildren; two loving sisters and six adored brothers.

Besides her parents, Pat is joining her beloved grandson, Mark-Jason “MJ” Eldridge; husband, Graham Eldridge and common-law spouse, Tim Dorman, resting in peace.

A special thank you to the kind and caring staff at the Windsor Elms Village, who kept Pat safe, cared for and comfortable in her final days.

Arrangements for cremation have been entrusted to DeMont Family Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 419 Albert St., Windsor (902-798-8317). Her family will be celebrating her love of nature with a hike, followed by a time to gather with family at Paddy’s Brewpub, 460 Main St., Wolfville on Friday, June 21 at 4:00 p.m., for those wishing to pay their last respects. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Hants Co., SPCA, PO Box 227, Windsor, NS B0N 2T0 or 9-Lives Cat Rescue Society, PO Box 125, Falmouth, NS B0P 1L0, in memory of Pat’s love for animals, especially her cherished cat, Kitty-Kitty, who ensured she was never lonely in her old age.
