Obituary of Joseph Adrien Arsenault

Age 89, of Falmouth, passed away on Friday, January 5, 2024 at home in Falmouth. Joe was born in Summerside, P.E.I., to Frank and Zita Arsenault on September 8, 1934.

 

He served in the RCAF 1951 - 1987. Upon retirement, he was the RSM, Canadian Corps. of Commissionaires New Brunswick and Prince Edward Island Division, headquartered in Saint John, NB.

 

Joe is survived by his son, Peter Arsenault and his wife, Terri Westhaver, of Falmouth; granddaughter, Andrea Viegas and great grandsons, Donovan and Merrick of Bon Accord, Alberta; brother, George Arsenault, Levis, Quebec. Joe will be missed by his loving companion, Katherine “Kitty” Huntley of Sweets Corner and his friends of Tim Hortons coffee club. Joe was predeceased by his wife, Donna Lee Arsenault; brother, Arthur Arsenault, Kingston, Ontario and daughter-in-law, Cynthia Arsenault, Falmouth.

 

Arrangements for cremation have been entrusted to DeMont Family Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 419 Albert St., Windsor (902-798-8317). A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, January 14 at home between 1:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m. Memorial donations may be made to any organization or charity of choice. Interment at a later date in St. Paul's Catholic Church Cemetery, Summerside, PEI. Messages of condolence may be sent to the family by visiting: www.demontfamilyfuneralhome.ca
